A friendly welcome at a Family run bed and breakfast situated in Scalloway the Ancient Capital of Shetland. Built in 1990 the excavations for the foundations discovered the remains of a broch, and occupation of the site dating as far back as 100 years BC. This has led to the above logo of a gaming piece discovered on site which would have been used in a game similar to the old Viking game of hneftafl .

Situated as you enter Scalloway with views over East Voe it is an ideal place from which to explore the North Mainland, South Mainland and West side of Shetland. Local shops, pubs, restaurants, swimming pool and gym hall are all within a short walking distance. Lerwick is a 10 minute journey by car or bus. 

The house is heated throughout and tastefully decorated, we have a no smoking policy however we are happy to supply an ashtray to enable you to smoke outside and enjoy the garden views. In addition to 3 en-suite bedrooms we also have a dining area and fully equipped lounge with TV, VCR, games, books and a selection of videos for residents use throughout the day. Whether on business or vacation you'll be treated like a friend in a home from home.
